ROCK KIDS AND ROCK KIDS JR.

— NEW HERE:

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Rest assured, our kids ministry at the Rock is designed to be safe, fun, and engaging for your children. Every servant leader undergoes thorough background checks and training to ensure a secure environment. To maintain safety, our policy ensures that no child is ever left alone with a single adult. Additionally, we offer specialized services for families with special needs.

At the Rock Kids, children from birth through fifth grade enjoy dynamic programming every Sunday and Wednesday. Our vibrant youth group provides opportunities for older kids to grow in their faith and connect with peers. Join us as we nurture the next generation, equipping them to impact the world with love for God and his house!

What's the Vibe?

Sundays start at 10 am. We have a safe, clean, and fun environment for kids aged birth-5th grade and have services for little ones with special needs. On Sundays, you'll hear a convicting, encouraging message, encounter God in soaking worship, and experience a diverse community.

Wednesdays are a time for deeper study or nights of worship and they start at 6:30 pm. We aim to have you out by 8:00 pm. We also have kids programming on Wednesday nights.

There's no dress code, come as yourself. Our church is pretty diverse so you'll see some people dressed up and others more laid back. The AC flows well in the main sanctuary, so you might want to bring a sweater.

We want to treat you the same way we would want to treat you if you were our neighbor popping by for the first time: with kindness, openness, and great hospitality. The coffee flows, you'll come across a lot of friendly faces, and we work to make getting plugged feel like a gift and not a task.

Our servant leaders roll out the red carpet for our guests - they are the dream team behind every gathering we host. The first step to signing up to serve is to attend Next Steps, where you'll be invited on a journey of discovering your gifts and finding your sweet spot. Sign up for Next Steps here

Our Rock Groups happen throughout the year and help build community across interests and seasons of life. Sign up here.

What Does the Rock Believe?

We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational, multi-campus, non-denominational church located in Huntsville, Madison and Double Springs, Alabama and in Fayetteville, TN. We believe God can use a unified church to heal brokenness. Our purpose is to show extraordinary love, uncommon unity and extravagant generosity. Our church gathers weekly for worship and offers ministry for every age stage.

GOD

He is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

Jesus

He is the only begotten Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to Earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Holy Spirit

He is co-equal with the Father and Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance to do what is right. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.

The Bible is God’s Word to humanity. Human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit wrote it. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by the attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.”

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in fellowship with God is heaven. Heaven and Hell are literal places of eternal existence.

Salvation is God’s gift of grace to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved from the penalty of our sin. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

God does have a standard by which behavior and sexual activity may be measured and judged, approved or disapproved. God’s perfect plan for a man and a woman is to be found by going back to the very beginning in Genesis. Biblical marriage is between one man and one woman. Same Sex unions are not recognized or endorsed in scripture. Marriage covenant is recognized by a licensed ceremony with a licensed minister, not Common Law marriage.

We practice tithing for the support of Christ’s body, the church, as God commands. We recognize that giving 10% of our income is the Biblical standard for giving.
