About our church.

We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational, multi-campus, non-denominational church located in Huntsville, Madison and Double Springs, Alabama and in Fayetteville, TN. We believe God can use a unified church to heal brokenness. Our purpose is to show extraordinary love, uncommon unity and extravagant generosity. Our church gathers weekly for worship and offers ministry for every age stage.

What we believe about...

He is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

Genesis 1:1“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Matthew 28:19“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
2 Corinthians 13:14“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

He is the only begotten Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to Earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

John 3:16“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
Philippians 2:6–8“…who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped… he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”
Revelation 19:16“On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.”

He is co-equal with the Father and Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance to do what is right. As Christians, we seek to live under His control Daily.

John 14:16–17“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth… You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.”
Acts 1:8“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses…”
Galatians 5:16“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
Romans 8:11“If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he… will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.”

The Bible is God’s Word to humanity. Human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit wrote it. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

2 Timothy 3:16–17“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness…”
2 Peter 1:20–21“…no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God…”

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by the attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.”

Genesis 1:27“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”
Romans 3:23“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Salvation is God’s gift of grace to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved from the penalty of our sin. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

Ephesians 2:8–9“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God…”
Romans 10:9“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in fellowship with God is heaven. Heaven and hell are literal places of eternal existence.

John 5:29“…those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.”
Matthew 25:46“And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

We believe that baptism by immersion in water is an outward sign of the inward work of salvation.

Romans 6:4“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead… we too might walk in newness of life.”
Acts 2:41“So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.”

God does have a standard by which behavior and sexual activity may be measured and judged, approved or disapproved. God’s perfect plan for a man and a woman is to be found by going back to the very beginning in Genesis. Biblical marriage is between one man and one woman. Same sex unions are not recognized or endorsed in scripture. Marriage covenant is recognized by a licensed ceremony with a licensed minister, not Common Law marriage.

Genesis 2:24“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”
Matthew 19:4–6“He answered, ‘Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female… What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.’”

We practice tithing for the support of Christ’s body, the church, as God commands. We recognize that giving 10% of our income is the Biblical standard for giving.

Malachi 3:10“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse… and thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts…”
2 Corinthians 9:7“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
